  • Educational Standards Law in N.S.W (2005) and the Learning Assistance Program (PDF – 180KB) These Standards apply to all students in all public and non-government sectors of education including pre-schooling, schooling, vocational education and training, higher education, the adult and community education sectors, and providers of educational services including curriculum and accreditation bodies. The Learning Assistance Program (LAP) was put in place in 2003 by The NSW Department of Education and Training (DET) to support students experiencing difficulties in learning regardless of the cause.
