Support groups organising an event during October 2015
October: Nepean/ Penrith ADHD Parent Support Group. Holding a promotion table at Westfield Penrith for 4 days. Approaching local council for small grant to organise some shirts, posters, brochures, etc. May take some amateur videos talking to parents to put on social media. Parents are tired of stigma and negative media.

Monday 12th October: Northern Beaches ADHD Parent Support Group. Speaker evening. Ian Wallace, “Practical Management of ADHD”. 7-9pm at Pittwater RSL, Main Sail Room, Mona Vale Rd, Mona Vale.

Tuesday 13 October: Eastern Suburbs ADHD Parent Support Group: Self-care, meditation workshop.
Join us at 6.30pm for this special FREE self-care workshop to celebrate Carers Week run by stress relief therapist and yoga/meditation teacher Marissa Nolan. Mats supplied. Invest in some time to help quieten your mind, relax your body and let it all go! No experience necessary. New faces welcome.

Saturday 17th October: ADDults with ADHD – Annual Adult ADHD Conference – also suit teens. At St. Barnabus Church, Mountain Street, Broadway, Sydney. 8.30am arrive to 4.00pm close. With speakers on – Stigma; Sleep; Worry, Sadness and ADHD; Hoarding; Anger and Rage – plus an interactive session with 3 facilitators.
