A half-day workshop for parents

The key to facilitating positive change in a child’s academic attainment is the engagement of parents in learning outcomes in the home.

This evidence-based, practical workshop has been developed primarily for parents of children in years K, 1 and 2, and for parents of children with learning difficulties. It may also be of interest to parents of children in their last year of preschool.

Carol Baker (LCST, MSPA) is a paediatric speech pathologist who has had a long career working with children with speech, language, reading and spelling difficulties. She now gives workshops to support and empower parents to help their children.
