This workshop will provide practical advice on spelling so you can better assist your child with spelling homework.
This session will cover spelling with multi-sensory activities involving phonemic awareness, letter-sound correspondence and spelling rules.
You will NOT learn the spelling strategy ‘Look, Cover, Write, Check’!

Melinda completed SPELD’s Certificate Course for Teachers of Students with Learning Difficulties in 2013 and since then has tutored children with learning difficulties and volunteers with Multilit at her local primary school. Melinda has ten year old twins, both with learning difficulties who have benefited from direct instruction with spelling homework.
