Then, why not become an annual, SPELD NSW tutor member?

SPELD NSW does not govern your teaching methods, fee structure or tutoring appointment times.
SPELD NSW is a not-for-profit organisation that supports and assists children and adults with specific learning difficulties like dyslexia, and one way to help is through having a tutor database and in-house tutors.
Tutors will need:
- Minimum – Degree in Education (or similar qualification), and/or, preferably, a Degree in Special Education, or completing their Masters in Special Education.
- All tutors are required by law to have a Working with Children Check.
- Our tutors will teach one on one, creating individual programs and lessons to meet their students’ needs.
- Any additional training in literacy or associated methods of learning would be beneficial.
For further information you can also contact SPELD NSW at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 9739 6277 between 10.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Thursday.
