Because of easy access to written opinion on the web we have a huge array of information about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) that ranges from spurious to factual.

What are the facts? What can we be sure about, regarding this condition?

Rhonda Filmer, Chair of SPELD NSW, will cover the nature and prevalence of this condition in Australia, the safeguards our medical systems have in place and, very practically, the research indications for the treatment and management of children with this condition. Whole of life challenges come with it. The research has much to say about self-care and the maintenance of mental health.

After information, input and case studies to illustrate the issues there will be an opportunity to ask practical questions regarding treatment and management of ADHD in children.

Rhonda Filmer, Chair of SPELD NSW, is an educational consultant specialising in children with learning difficulties who are considered twice-exceptional.

WHEN: Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7pm start.  Workshop runs for 90 minutes with time for questions after.

Members – $10
Non-Members – $20
