Decodable Reader Extended Code Packs

SPELD NSW has put together a range of classroom packs of decodable readers made up from the high quality decodable readers that we stock. These packs are a great resource for classrooms and learning support teams. Each pack contains multiple copies of each book in the series. These readers can be used in reading groups, intervention programs or as take-home readers.

The Classroom Book Packs on this page include decodable readers that address the Extended Phonics Code (the long vowel sounds and less common sounds for consonants and vowels). These books are ideal for students in Years One and Two and who are working on extending their phonics knowledge into the Extended Code and becoming independent readers. Students learning the Extended Phonics Code benefit from practise from varied texts.

Decodable Readers Australia - Act it Out - Readers' Theatre Pack

The Act It Out – Readers’ Theatre Pack is a great classroom fluency resource.
